  • How long does it lasts and when will I see my results?
    Typically, neurotoxins last 3-4 months before they’re metabolized by the body. This depends on your metabolism and life style habits, such as exercise. It takes Botox 2 weeks to see results. On the other hand, Dysport kicks in faster, it starts working in 3-5 days.
  • What should I avoid after my Botox appointment?
    Avoid working out and drinking alcohol for 24-48 hrs. Aesthetic procedures such as facials, laser, microneedling, etc. should also be avoided after your procedure.
  • Can I get Botox/Dysport when I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
    No, here at Evolve Aesthetics we do not administer any injectables to breastfeeding women or soon to be moms. There are no studies that support neurotoxins being safe for both fetus and baby.
  • How long do injectables last?
    Dermal filler last from 6 months to 1 year. This all depends on how fast your body metabolizes the injectable and your lifestyle habits.
  • Is dissolving filler painful?
    There is a great stigma around dissolving being extremely painful. At Evolve Aesthetics our injectors use Hyaluronidase to dissolve the product, and paired with a great technique, our dissolving sessions are pain free!
  • What type of numbing is used for injectables?
    At Evolve Aesthetics, we use prescription topical numbing ointment.
  • What is the downtime for Kybella?
    After your procedure, swelling, bruising, soreness, numbness and redness is normal. Swelling can last up to 2 to 3 weeks. Usually, swelling peak at the 24-48 hours after treatment.
  • What is the difference between Kybella and Morpheus8?
    Kybella and Morpheus8 both address unwanted fat tissue. The main difference would be, Kybella focuses solely on breaking down fat cells and is a targeted procedure that has long lasting effects by dissolving fat cells. Whereas, Morpheus 8 not only focuses on reducing fat, but you get the added benefit of improving skin texture, pore size, skin elasticity and collagen production. If fat loss and skin tightening is the goal - depending on the area of treatment, typically we advise both procedures starting with Morpheus 8, and lastly targeting any stubborn fat areas with Kybella if needed.

    The 5’s. After your Sculptra appointment, we recommend you to massage the area 5 times a day in 5 minutes for 5 days straight. Apply ice to the area after the treatment to reduce swelling.
  • How long does it last? How fast can I see results?
    Sculptra usually takes a series of sessions. It works gradually to restore lost collagen! It stimulates natural collagen growth to help restore facial volume and fullness over 6-12 weeks.
  • How can I better prepare for my PRF treatment?
    For optimal results we recommend being well hydrated and increasing your water intake 2 weeks before your treatment. For the best results, also avoid alcohol, and fatty rich foods. The amount of PRF we are able to obtain from your blood relies on your lifestyle habits. How can I better prepare for my PRF treatment?
  • After care for PRF
    We recommend avoiding extreme sun exposure and working out for 24 hours. For PRF hair restoration, we recommend waiting 24 hours to wash your hair. Hair products can cause irritation to the open wounds. Keep the area clean and avoid wearing hats for 24-48 hours.
  • When should you come in for your next PRF treatment?
    After your first PRF treatment, we recommend coming in 4-6 weeks for a minimum of 3 sessions.
  • How many sessions of Morpheus8 is recommended?
    Like many of our treatments, Morpheus8 results rely on your lifestyle and what your desired goals are. A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended to achieve optimal results.
  • Is there any downtime? What are the aftercare steps?
    Downtime with Morpheus8 is minimal, makeup can be applied 3 days after the treatment. Avoid extended sun exposure for 2 weeks. It is recommended that patients use broad spectrum sunscreen everyday after treatment.
  • Can I get other treatments along with Morpheus8?
    Yes, it is typical to pair PRF injections with your Morpheus8 treatment to promote healing. We advise avoiding dermal fillers and botox 2 weeks before your treatment.
  • Can I use my own skin care when preparing for my chemical peel?
    No. The patient should use the skin care provided and approved by our aesthetician! Products will be sent home with the patient 2 weeks prior to the chemical peel treatment. It is recommended not to use any retinols or exfoliation 48-72 hours prior to your treatment.
  • How long is the treatment?
    After the chemical peel has been applied, our aesthetician will monitor you for about 45min. Afterwards, the peel should stay on your skin for 8-10 hours until you wash at home. An aftercare kit will be sent with you after treatment.
  • What is the chemical peel downtime and after care?
    Depending on your skin type, the first 2-3 days your skin may look like it’s sunburnt, on day 4 light peeling starts, and heavy peeling on day 5-7. During this time, it is advised no major physical exercise, extreme sun exposure, sweating, saunas or hot yoga for a week.
