Avoid blood thinner medications, such as aspirin and ibuprofen, 24 hours before your appointment.
B12 shots can be administered on the arm or buttocks area. Please wear appropriate clothing to better access the area you want injected.
Do you need to rest after your B12 injection?
Give yourself the time to avoid vigorous activity immediately after the treatment to minimize any side effects
Are there any side effects to B12 shots?
You may experience some reactions immediately after the injection is administered. The sudden increase in B12 can cause nausea, dizziness and headaches when first injected into the muscle.
